BOOKING YOUR PREVIEW
You probably already have a pretty good idea about what you want your cake to look like. You may even have a picture that you've pinned, or a photograph from another wedding. If so, that's great! If not, don't worry. We have several portfolios to look through. When you're ready to choose that Classic Cake, simply contact Leslie to schedule your design session.
Your tasting and design session normally lasts about an hour. It includes a tasting of several of the most popular cake flavors. There is a $30 tasting and session fee. If you wish to pick up tasting cakes without a design session, there is a $20 fee. Upon booking, that fee will apply to your total cake balance. Requests to taste specialty cakes and fillings may require an additional small fee. Your session is specifically structured to help you design your cake, determine servings needed, and make any other relevant decisions prior to ordering. All options involving your order are discussed during this session, although this does not obligate you to order.
** IMPORTANT NOTE **
We understand that things can change; whether it's a flavor, design 'tweak', or just the numbers. These changes can usually be handled by telephone, text, or e-mail. However, if more than one sit-down session is desired, there is an additional $50 per hour consulting fee for each subsequent meeting.
PAYMENT
A deposit of 1/3 your projected cost is required to lock in your date. The deposit is non-refundable after 3 days. Until a payment is made, there is no guarantee that another wedding will not book that same date.
You may make your deposit by check, cash, or secure payment via PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle. Final payment must be made no later than 3 days prior to the wedding day. We will not deliver the cake unless paid in full. Failure to pay the balance also forfeits all deposit monies.
A REFUNDABLE deposit will be charged for all cake plateaus. A separate check is required for this, which will be held until plateaus are returned and in good condition. Customer will have ONE WEEK to return plateaus in order to get deposit back.
